Identify Your Barriers and Find Solutions

Step 4:
An important step in incorporating physical activity into your life is to first
identify the barriers that are keeping you from being physically active. A barrier is something that separates you from what you want to do. In other words, a barrier is an obstacle.

Without knowing where the problem lies in your current situation, it will be difficult to move forward and easier to fall back into your old routine. Once you identify your barriers, you can then come up with solutions to help you move towards your goal of being more physically active. These solutions will help you to make small, realistic changes that fit into your busy lifestyle. Use the tools below to help you identify your barriers and find suggested solutions. Record them on your worksheet.

Here is a helpful quiz that will assist you in identifying your barriers.  When you're done explore solutions or be creative and develop your own solutions.
