Here's the wheel ruts I left in the big mud puddle after my first run. The two people there are pointing out the accidental victims of my excursion.
As it turns out, there were a whole bunch of tadpoles in the big mud puddle. This is a good demonstration of why it's so important to check out what you're going into before you do it. I don't believe that I hurt any tadpoles in this, but it is a possibility. After looking at the ruts I made and deciding they were tadpole-free, we felt it was safe to continue, as long as I stuck to the same ruts.
